St Serf's Halls as a Theatre |
|
St
Serf's Players manage the stage area of St Serf's Church Halls on behalf
of Inverleith St Serf's
Parish Church. Any bookings need to be made through the Church,
however any queries regarding technical issues or the theatre licence are
best made to St Serf's Players. St. Serf's Church Halls can be organised to provide an excellent 200
seat theatre. The large hall is used as the main auditorium, adjoining the
raised stage area. Up to four of the meeting rooms can be used as Dressing
Rooms and the small hall can be used to serve interval
Refreshments. The theatre is equipped with an Induction Loop system. The halls are entered from a ramp between the pavement and the main door, with no steps to negotiate in order to reach the halls. There is a toilet for the use of disabled patrons, in addition to the ladies and gents toilets. The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users. There is ample on-street parking in the local area. The venue is well served by buses, the number 23 bus stops beside the main door, and other buses 8, 14, 17, 21 and 27 within 200m at Goldenacre. The theatre is available for hire and is used on a regular basis by the following groups and organizations:
